If you are a Medicaid member you may be eligible for free rides to and from Ideal Option and your pharmacy. This coverage is called “non-emergency medical transportation”.

Arkansas
Who qualifies:
- You must be on Medicaid.
- You must try to find another ride first.
- You must have no other way to get to your appointment.
How to request transportation:
- Call the NET Help Line toll-free at 888-987-1200 to get the contact details for your broker.
- Call your broker at least 48 hours (two full weekdays) before your appointment.
- Your broker can pick you up from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Be ready when your ride arrives. Brokers will only wait 15 minutes.
- If you have to change your appointment time or cancel it, call your broker 48 hours before your appointment time and let them know.

Idaho
Who qualifies:

How to request transportation:
- Call the NEMT Broker at 877-503-1261 or visit www.mtm-inc.net/idaho.
- Be sure to schedule your ride at least 48 hours before your appointment.
- The NEMT broker will review your request and decide if Medicaid will pay for your transportation.
MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT
If you have a vehicle to transport yourself or family members to their appointments, please contact the NEMT broker and ask about their mileage reimbursement program.

New Mexico
Who qualifies:
- You must be a member of one of these Medicaid plans: Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico
(BCBSNM), Presbyterian Health, or United Healthcare. - You must have no other way to get to your appointment.
- You must call at least 3 days in advance of your appointment.
How to request transportation:
Have the following information ready before you call:
- Your full name and date of birth
- Your member ID number
- Date and time of the appointment
- Provider’s or facility’s name, address and phone number
- Reason for the appointment
BCBSNM
- Call 866-913-4342 at least three business days in advance.
Presbyterian
- Call 505-923-5200 or 888-977-2333 at least two business days in advance.
- You can also schedule a ride online with the Itineris Passenger App.
- Presbyterian will call your provider to verify your appointment.
United Healthcare
- Call 877-236-0826 at least three business days in advance.
- After your visit, call for a ride home.
- If your doctor gives you a prescription you can stop at the pharmacy to get it.
North Dakota
Who qualifies:
- You must be on Medicaid.
- You must try to find another ride first.
- You must have no other way to get to your appointment.

How to schedule a ride with Handi-Wheels
- Call Handi-Wheels Transportation at 701-232-3231.
- Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
- Be sure to schedule your ride at least 48 hours before your appointment.
- Provide your name, address, phone number, date of birth, and Medicaid number.
- You must cancel your ride by 5 PM the day before you need it.
How to schedule a ride with BCBS
- Call BCBS at 833-777-5779.
- Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM
- Be sure to schedule your ride at least 48 hours before your appointment.
- Provide your name, address, phone number, date of birth, and Medicaid number.
Oregon
