Patient Portal

How do I access the patient portal?

You can access the patient portal by visiting https://bit.ly/idealoptionportal. A link to the patient portal is also found at the bottom of the homepage on our website, idealoption.com. To access the portal on your phone, just download the "Healow" app from the app store and use Practice Code DJHFAD.

To log in to the Healow app for the first time and access lab results:

  1. Launch the Healow app on a mobile device.
  2. (Optional) Review a tutorial for the Healow app by swiping left through the five instructional screens.
  3. Tap "Get Started."
  4. Read the Terms of Use Agreement and then tap the "I agree to the terms & conditions" button.
  5. On the "Let’s Get Started" screen, enter your first name, last name, and date of birth, and then tap the "Continue" button.
  6. Tap "Yes, I have a Practice Code".
  7. Enter Practice Code DJHFAD on the Practice Code screen and then tap the "Next" button.
  8. Verify that the selected practice is correct and then tap the "This is My Practice" button.
  9. Verify your account using one of the following options:
    • Select the number to which the phone verification code is to be sent and then tap "Send Text."
    • Enter the verification code on the Phone Verification screen.
    • Swipe up on the "Or Login with Username," enter the user’s Patient Portal login credentials, then tap the "Submit" button.
  10. Create a 6-digit security PIN. The Healow app is activated, and you are logged in.

The Healow app is a mobile application that allows users to manage their health information. It provides features such as access to medical records, pay statement balances and view appointment history. To log in for the first time, users need to launch the app, review the tutorial, agree to the terms and conditions, enter their personal information, and verify their account using practice code DJHFAD.

On the patient portal and the healow app, you can access the following features:

  1. View Scheduled Appointments: Check your upcoming appointments.
  2. Pay Statement Balances: View and pay your medical bills.
  3. View and Save/Print Lab Results: Access your lab results and save or print them for your records.
  4. View Current Medications: See a list of your current medications.

These tools provide a convenient way to manage your health information and stay connected with your healthcare provider.

To access lab results on the patient portal at Ideal Option, you can view and save/print lab results directly from the portal.

For the Healow app, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the Healow app
  2. Select ‘My Records’ from the options wheel

For the patient portal, follow these steps:

  1. Login to the patient portal using either user credentials (username and password) or your name and DOB
  2. From the navigation bar on the left side of the screen, hover on Medical Records and click on Personal Health Record
  3. Enter a date range and click Submit

To print or share lab results from the patient portal at Ideal Option, you can view and save or print lab results directly from the portal.

For the Healow app, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the Healow app
  2. Select ‘My Records’ from the options wheel
  3. Select a beginning and ending date to display results in the desired timeframe
  4. Select ‘Download PDF’ at the bottom of the screen
  5. You will be presented with options to save or email the PDF results

To make a payment via the patient portal at Ideal Option, you can view and pay statement balances directly through the portal.

For the Healow app, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the Healow app
  2. Select ‘Statements’ from the options wheel
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to make a payment

For the patient portal, follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://bit.ly/idealoptionportal
  2. On the left, select ‘Pay Your Bill’
  3. Enter a statement code and patient last name or enter patient first name, last name, DOB and phone number
  4. After verification, follow on-screen instructions to make a payment
